AFFIDAVIT OF THE PEOPLE OF NIGERIA IN DEFENSE OF THE CONSTITUTION AND SOVEREIGNTY

We, the undersigned individuals, whose names, places of origin, and signatures are shown in Appendix 1, hereinafter referred to as "The People of Nigeria," do hereby solemnly declare as follows:

1. Declaration of Voluntary Action

2. That we, the People of Nigeria, acting voluntarily and without any form of duress, pressure, financial leverage, or inducement, have united to take this stand in defense of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and to safeguard the sovereignty of our nation.

3. Commitment to Defend the Constitution

   That we acknowledge the supremacy of the Constitution of Nigeria, and we collectively commit ourselves to upholding and protecting it, recognizing that the Constitution is the foundation of the legal and democratic system of our nation.

4. Recognition of Sovereignty:

   That we, as citizens of Nigeria, affirm that sovereignty belongs to the people of Nigeria, and that we, as the true custodians and owners of that sovereignty, hold the ultimate power to ensure the Constitution is upheld and respected. No government or individual has the right to undermine or violate the principles of the Constitution.

5. Purpose of the Action:

   That the purpose of this action is to challenge the unconstitutional actions taken by the Executive and Legislative branches of government, to hold them accountable for violating constitutional provisions, and to restore the integrity and proper functioning of the constitutional order in Nigeria.

6. Non-Aggressive Intent:

7. That our response to these constitutional breaches is not guided by aggression or violence, but by the peaceful, lawful, and constitutional power vested in us as the bona fide representatives and owners of Nigeria's sovereignty.

8. Commitment to Legal Action:

   That, in line with the power vested in us as the sovereign people, we hereby notify the judiciary to order the Executive and Legislative branches to rescind all unconstitutional actions taken, and if they wish to avoid charges of treason, issue a public apology to the people of Nigeria.

9. Affirmation of Unity:

   That this action, as demonstrated by the signatories in Appendix 1, represents the collective will of the people of Nigeria, and we affirm our united commitment to defending our nation’s Constitution and sovereignty.

By inserting my name, place of origin, and signature in Appendix 1, I affirm and agree to the statements and declarations above as an individual member of the People of Nigeria. I commit to using this association solely for the purpose of achieving the objectives set forth above and stand in solidarity with the other signatories in this collective action.
